Yorkshire Terrier
The original was a Yorkshire Terrier dog about 6 to 7 kilos of weight, used to hunt rats and other rodents that are commonly found in small spaces. The name was adopted in 1870, with the English county Yorkshire which led to the race. Huddersfield Ben is considered the mainstay of the race, born in 1865 and died in 1871. Raised by W. Eastwood Huddersfield, born of crosses between mother and child (Inbreeding) laid the groundwork for what would become the future race known as the Yorkshire Terrier Modern. Today is one of the smartest dog breeds. They are very sensitive about their nutrition and hygiene.
